aircraft structural loads understanding, towing dynamics, and operational envelope development.
● Plan and execute comprehensive flight test programs, ensuring compliance with applicable certification standards
and supporting Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) activities.
● Refine the Preliminary Test and Evaluation Master Plan (pTEMP) and establish the Test and Evaluation Master Plan
(TEMP) to support program objectives and certification requirements.
● Develop flight test plans, procedures, test cards, test matrices, and campaign strategies to support progressive
envelope expansion and risk reduction.
● Take an active role in ensuring the safety of flight test operations through risk assessment, hazard identification,
operational reviews, and flight test safety planning (4040.26).
● Work closely with Systems Engineering to establish appropriate verification methods for system requirements and
ensure test activities provide sufficient certification evidence.
● Develop and execute towing-specific flight test campaigns to investigate towing loads, towline behavior, aircraft
response, aerodynamic interactions, and operational limitations.
● Analyze flight test data and campaign results to assess aircraft performance, loads, stability, controllability, and
compliance with certification requirements.
● Investigate off-nominal towing conditions, oscillatory behaviors, and abnormal operating scenarios to support safety
assessments, certification activities, and operational procedures.
● Coordinate with engineering teams, certification specialists, ODA representatives, and regulatory authorities to
support FAA, EASA, and STC certification activities.
● Create and maintain certification evidence matrices supporting flight test and compliance activities.
● Prepare detailed flight test reports, compliance documentation, certification evidence, and engineering
